Writing has slowed down quite a bit and I really miss it. But I have figured out why I have not been into it. Capoeira has taken over my life, I am training hardcore, but when I really deeply think about it I realize that it's all my beat up camera situation, using my husband's just doesn't feel right. I feel that being without a good camera that I actually love to use I just don't write, inspiration fizzles out of me. How photography and blogging go hand in hand for me I don't know, but I can't go without either.
My Scot has been working hard, saving money to get me the camera he thinks will suit me best. On Monday I shall be getting a package at work, my new baby, a Sigma DP2s. I can't tell you how excited I am.
I can tell you though that I am thinking about starting an additional blog just for my new camera adventures, Some Chilean Woman will continue, of course. But what to name the new blog?

the photo blog is a great idea. will have to think of a name that suits it well ;)
